CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) GUIDANCE
You are not allowed to enter the building if you or someone in your household has experienced any symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) or have been advised to quarantine in the past 7 days.
The main symptoms of coronavirus are:
A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature).
A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).
A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
Most people with coronavirus have at least 1 of these symptoms.
For the latest advice and guidance, please visit the NHS website at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/#overview
When you arrive at the studio for your class, the front door will be locked. A member of staff will let you into the reception area 5 minutes before the start of class. You will need to wear a mask in the communal areas, unless you are exempt.
Please do not enter the studio until the previous class has finished
Your temperature will be taken by a member of staff using a no touch head thermometer. If this is higher than 37.5 you will not be able to enter
You may use the toilet, but the kitchen is off limits (including drinking facilities so please bring your own water)
Please arrive dressed and ready to dance, with as few personal items as possible. The toilets must not be used as changing rooms at the moment.
You will need to enter the studio via the doors next to the toilets
Please use the hand sanitisers available to you, before you enter
In the studio
Studio classes will have a maximum of 13 students plus 2 teachers, this is to ensure social distancing is adhered to
NO outdoor shoes in the studio, please change your shoes before you enter and and again once you leave the studio
There will be no chairs laid out, instead you will need to place your belongings around the sides of room - distanced from the person next to you
You will be advised as to how to set yourself up in the room, and you will be advised to keep your water bottle close to you to minimise walking around
The wearing of face masks is not mandatory in the studio, only in the common areas. However, if you wish than you may wear PPE if you feel more comfortable doing so
You will leave the studio via the doors next to reception
Please do not linger in the common areas, we all want to catch up but we are not able to wait in this area at the moment I'm afraid
